Tim is Chairman and founder of KPMG's Global Infrastructure and Projects Group and is a regular author and speaker on PPP and public service reform. He is the senior adviser to the Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform and to the Chief Secretary of the Treasury on potential nuclear new-build. He is also an expert non-executive member of the board of the European Investment Bank and a founder member of the CBI's Public Services Strategy Board and was Chairman of IFSL's PPP Export Group. He is currently the independent advisor to the Deputy
Premier and to the Finance Minister of one of the Australian states on their entire infrastructure program.

Tim is a member of the Council of the Institute for Education, London University's specialist research and teaching post-graduate college and is a trustee of the London Symphony Chorus. He was also a member of the Department of Health Commercial Directorate advisory board from its creation, has been a member of the DfES Minister for Schools advisory panel for Building Schools for the Future and was a member of DEFRA's Sustainable Procurement Taskforce. He has extensive experience of advising both public and private sector clients on significant transactions in healthcare, transport, defence and education.

Prior to joining KPMG Tim was a Director at SG Warburg & Co. where he was a founder of the operator of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, London & Continental Railways. Before joining SG Warburg with his
team in the late 1980's, he was a Managing Director at Chase Manhattan in New York, where he ran one of the Bank's international businesses for a number of years.
